  • That’s quite a trip!

I was reading on another site about a woman who just got back from 23 nights at WDW with her 3 sons, 18, 13, and 3, and they stayed at 8 resorts. Wow! PC, CBR, POR, AK, BW, BC, CR, and GF. While I think it would be amazing to stay at that many resorts on one trip, the packing and unpacking would drive me nuts. Kudos to her though. She wanted a magical trip for her son who graduated and I think she pulled it off.

Wow!! I think that would take a bit of the fun out of it to move around so much, especially with the little one.

A friend of mine did 3 weeks changing resorts several times. She has DVC and could only get so many nights at one resort. Had y TY o take what was available at the time. Her home resort is the Grand Californian, do she doesn't get the 11 month booking advantage. Luckily she was solo and visiting with me. She didn't really mind it.

I couldn't do it as I'm the type that likes to "move in." I could see maybe changing resorts once during a multi week trip but not an average of every three or four night.

We like to "move in," too, so that we feel at home so changing resorts every three or four nights wouldn't appeal to us. But I'm impressed that they did it.

I've done multi resort stays on several trips, just to get a variety of resorts and locations. Never been more than two resorts and always at least three nights at each. I have my bags delivered by my first resort to the next one and in general this service has worked out well except once. They forgot to send my bags to my next resort which was the WL. Extra waiting and a hassle. It was CSR that screwed this up.

Not to mention the cost of staying 23 days with those different room rates at 8 resorts! Wouldn't like to see her bill! WOW!

Neither would I. I'd imagine it's rather high since all but one are either a moderate or deluxe. I'm staying 17 nights at All Star Movies and my bill without a discount is between $2,500 and $3,000.

Oh good grief, we like to move around, but that's a bit too much for even me! Usually in a 10 day stay, we might stay at two or three resorts, so maybe we could do six in that amount of time, but eight? No thank you!
