  • Magic Kingdom Thurs. (Oct. 16)

I visited MK yesterday, from about 10:45 to 5 pm.

Crowds were what I would've expected on a very light, off-peak day maybe 10 years ago, when there used to be off-peak times.

Space Mountain and Seven Dwarfs both posted 65-minute lines at their peaks, and POC & Jungle Cruise both posted up to 45-minute waits.

However, every line I was in was approximately 10 minutes shorter than the posted times....even the three times when CMs announced a short additional wait while they cleaned the cars.

The worst part was that nearly every line extends far to the outside, because of the 6-foot distancing, and the sun was pretty brutal at times (hit around 88 degrees, perhaps a bit warmer, yesterday).

I still found it to be a great time to visit!

My hint is to bring a couple of extra masks, so you can swap out to a clean, cool one when your first one gets warm and moist.

    Typical view in Frontierland:
    WDW visits: 1977, 1985, 1997, 1999, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2008, 2010, 2011, 2013, 3-2014, 9-2014, 11-2015 (birthday trip), 5-2016, 2-2017, 3-2017 x2, 6-2017, 8-2017, 10-2017x2, 11-2017x2, 12-2017. Living in Florida now--lost count!
    DISNEYLAND(no kids): 1984, 1993, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2012, 2013, 6-2014 (DS19 & me!), 8-2014 (solo), 12-2015 (solo), 9-2016

Thanks for the review. The crowd levels sound very pleasant and good tip about the masks. I know I've only managed a couple of hours in mine over here in considerably cooler weather before needing to swap it out.

Enjoying some relaxation time on the Transatlantic cruise on the Disney Magic - I'm Cheryl and with my husband Mark, we love visiting Disney and exploring the world...
