    Happy disney Day

    I have been dreading today. It's our 60 day window reserve dining. I had it in my head it was going to be difficult due to park passes, tight availability and lack of flexibility in park days to get what we wanted

    The only real thing I had set my heart on was beaches and cream. Been watching it for months and seeing nothing except for 10pm which is past my bedtime. But I got it for 2:30pm on our Studios day. Perfect. I also really wanted flying fish which I got easily for the time we wanted.

    Then

    I didn't even have Space 220 on my list I thought no chance. But I saw it available for lunch on our Epcot day. I snagged that even though it wasn't planned it is perfect. This trip was supposed to be our son Rory's turning 18 and leaving school trip back in 2021 (we did this for his brother and sister). That wasn't possible so this is the replacement. This is the perfect meal for him to have as a special treat. He will be almost 19 but who cares. I'm now pondering cake delivery...

    On top of that. I had to change our pick up time for our hire car to fit in. Not a big change just 1 hour earlier, same day same place. As I did it it said if you change you will be subject to current pricing so I thought here we go a price increase. Well I got $150 refund!!!!!

    Seems this trip is meant to be.

        Congrats on the dining ressie success and for the refund! Very nice Disney Day indeed!

              Congrats on getting all those!

              I'm glad to hear that, as we watching something on Florida last night (Jane McDonald) and when she went to Oga's Cantina, for a laugh, I looked at availability and couldn't find anything and tried a couple of other places at random for 60 days out and couldn't find anything either, so I was thinking this might be tough when we eventually have to do this... probably early next year.

              Enjoying some relaxation time on the Transatlantic cruise on the Disney Magic - I'm Cheryl and with my husband Mark, we love visiting Disney and exploring the world...

                Funny you should say that I realised today that I forgot OGA's and added it on. Seems as long as you get that few days advance on the 60 days it is fairly wide.

                I did forget to say they opened booking at 11am our time which is 6am Florida time even though they say 7m which is sneaky.

                    Thanks for the heads up on that. That's when the time difference is neat - when it's a sensible hour our time for bookings to open!

                        That is great! You are going to love Beaches and Cream.
                        That might sound boring, but I think the boring stuff is the stuff I remember the most.
