Can anyone tell me about reservation services like mousedining? I've never used anything like them...are they on the up and up? Or is is really as simple as putting in your wished-for dates and waiting for a ping?

I used mousewatcher.com for our California trip back in June. So many dining spots out there were hard to get. They do charge a fee, but we wound up with everything we wanted. I did have to be pretty quick, so I checked the email incessantly for those messages. I found they located something for us within a few days of the request.Susan
