  • A Disney Dictionary

I'd like to create a Diseny dictionary at pdl so everyone from Disney newbies to Disney veterans drawing a blank on what an abbreviation or term means have someplace to look it up. However, there is no way I know or could remember all of them so your help would be greatly appreciated.

Since there is now a Disney Springs (formerly Downtown Disney) in Florida, I suggest:

          DSC - Disney Springs (California)
          DSF - Disney Springs (Florida)

              Some DVC ones...

              DVC - Disney Vacation Club
              HHI - Hilton Head Island
              VBR - Vero Beach
              GFV- Grand Floridian Villas
              BCV - Beach Club Villas
              BWV - BoardWalk Villas
BLT - Bay Lake Tower (not what you guys might think!)

              However now replaced by:
              CCV - Copper Creek Villas
              BRV - Boulder Ridge Villas
              OKW - Old Key West
              SSR - Saratoga Springs
              THV - Treehouse Villas

I've yet to come across an abbreviation for Aulani...

                Oooh… and:

                ABD - Adventures by Disney
                DCL - Disney Cruise Line

And DLP is the most common shorthand I've seen for Disneyland Paris, as otherwise DL gets confused with Disneyland California.

Compiling all of them in to one list was & still is my plan. I also planned/plan to break it down in to categories. Thanks for the suggestion/idea though.
