Disneyland!

What: Disneyland vacation, plus a bonus day for Universal Hollywood
Where: Anaheim/Los Angeles
When: June 11-18, 2022
Why: Need you ask? It’s been 8 years since we celebrated Joel’s high school graduation at Disneyland. Now, we celebrate that he’s fully employed.

We will fly on American Airlines. I got good flight times, and we have decent layover times in Houston both coming and going. We think we might book a Disney breakfast and maybe one dinner. I like the idea of Minnie and Friends at the Plaza Restaurant. We did that breakfast last time. As for dinner, we need to look at some menus. After much discussion, we agreed to stay on Harbor Blvd again. The difference in the money is just huge. We are all booked and getting excited!

Awesome! Have so much fun! Please post about your trip when you return. We have never been to Disneyland, but are planning a trip to California in 2024 and we hope to visit Disneyland for a few days.

Today was our dining reservation day for our first park day, and we wanted to kick it off with breakfast with Minnie and Friends at the Plaza. At precisely 9:00 (6:00 Pacific time) I was online and snagged 8:00 AM. We now need only one more reservation, and that one should be no problem, since it is always more readily available.

58 days and counting until we arrive in Anaheim!! 60 days until we visit Disneyland again!!

Today, I got our breakfast at Goofy’s Kitchen. I think we’ll just do counter service or walk up for our other meals. There are plenty of CS options at Disneyland.

I love Flo's V-8 Cafe in DCA! It used to have hand-carved roast beef or turkey, but still good stuff and fun theming.
