    Question of the Day 5/20/23

    Good Saturday, pixies!

    Do you follow the horse racing Triple Crown races? I ask because today is Preakness Stakes day, the second in the Triple Crown threesome. I used to follow more closely, but these days not so much.

    When my daughter rode, the barn, kids and adults, were interested in these races. I have no interest now and worry about how race horses are treated.

          Nope...other than back in 2004 when Smarty Jones was popular. Our son was fascinated with Smarty Jones that year, so we kind of followed horse racing that season.

              Living in Kentucky, following sort of comes naturally. But in the past few years, I have not been as interested. We recorded the Kentucky Derby this year but haven't even watched it.

                I will occasionally check to see who won, but I don't really follow it. I'll get a bit more interested if a triple crown possibility occurs.
